Essential Dating Technique – The Fine Art Of Kissing

By Charles Cuninghame You may be the smoothest operator ever to grace a singles barstool, you may have the looks of an extra on The O.C. and the sensitivity of the Dalai Lama, but if you’re terrible at tonsil hockey or a let down at the lip-lock, then you’re just not gonna make it in the romance stakes. According to John L. Ferri, author of Sex in the Romance: A Review of Romantic Encounters of the Close Kind: “Kissing is an art and a highly individual and personal expression of affection and love.” Scientists tell us that kissing signals our brains to produce oxytocin, a hormone that gives us that gooey-all-over feeling we experience when making mouth music. If done properly it’ll make you as horny as hell and is a bloody good indication of how you’ll be in the sack. So it’s very important to get it right. Nothing turns a prospective bed mate off faster than a lousy kisser, such as the “Niagara Falls”, who produces enough slobber to wash your car, or the “electric eel”, whose tongue travels so far down your throat it begins to choke you. While everyone must develop their own technique, here are a few general pointers to ensure you keep them coming back for more. Good breath is essential. OK so a taste of mouthwash is a dead giveaway you were anticipating a bit of nookie, but that beats the hell out of ashtray breath. A bit of sensitivity goes a long way. Your smooching partner is probably not going to tell you how they like to be kissed, so you’ll have to use trial and error (hopefully not too much error). Experiment with taking and following the lead, a mixture of tenderness and aggressiveness and kissing different parts of the body and face. Be playful and have fun! Remember a good kiss is its own reward. Just enjoy it and don’t get too caught up in thinking about what it might lead to – just let nature take its course. Charles Cuninghame is a website copywriter in Sydney, Australia, and an online dating enthusiast. When Should You Update Your Job Skills?

By Max Stein With the U.S. economy still slumping and unemployment numbers barely moving forward, many workers may be considering what their employment future could be like if they were to lose their job. If youre in a healthcare field, or possess computer skills, you dont have much to worry about, except explaining why you left your last job. On the other hand, if youre employed in production or manufacturing, you may be asking yourself, when should I update my job skills? If youre lucky enough to still have a job in this economy and youre pondering the future, you should consider updating your job skills immediately. Your current education level will determine what you should update. If you already possess a Bachelors degree, examine what your skills deficits may be. For instance, are you up to date on computer programs commonly used in an office environment? If you want to make a move into healthcare, do you have medical terminology or CPR? Some states allow degree holders to get into teaching without having a related degree. Some may require a certificate. Your employer may even pay for your continuing education. Career colleges offer courses with flexible times so you can work and update your skills. On the other hand, if youre one of the over eight million people who is currently looking for full or part-time work and your job prospects are not very good, updating your skills could be very important to your future. Again, you should assess your current educational inventory. Consider the industry youve been in and see if it makes sense to change. There are a lot of openings in sales, healthcare and computer related industries. Federal or state aid may be available to you for educational purposes. Finally, if you feel safe in your current job, create a strategy of cross-training. Make yourself so valuable to your employer, that even if the job you hold now is eliminated, you could easily move to another one within the company. Advancing your computer skills is one of the best ways to do this. Improving your sales skills is another. By creating added value to your employer, you put yourself far down the list to be trimmed. The answer to when you should update your job skills is – always. Whether you need to update the computer programs you know or train for a completely new industry, your ability to adapt to change will help keep you employed, both now and in the future. The Death of Product Packaging as We Know It.

By JoAnn Hines It used to be you that if you had a great product you put it in a package and voila! . . .someone would come along and buy it. That is not the case any more. The package not only has to protect the product and allow for its tracking, it has to sell it too. Most importantly, the package has to capture someone’s attention in less than three seconds. Consider the last time you went shopping. Were there any new products that jumped at you off the shelves? With smart packaging there is an embedded chip that says “buy me” every time someone walks past your product. Seriously, that will happen in the future, but right now smart packaging is confined to a few interesting innovations. What smart packaging innovations will impact you and your product? It depends not only upon your target demographic but where you plan to sell your product. Packaging 101 simply doesn’t make the grade any more. Ask yourself some important questions that will help you build your package brand. Who is your buyer? How old is your buyer? Where does your buyer shop? How often do they shop? What features are they looking for in your product packaging? What is the most important aspect of your product package that will appeal to the buyer? Will my package have to persuade people to buy it? Can your package be easily compromised, tampered with or counterfeited? This should get you started thinking about who you are packaging your product for and their expectations. No matter who the ultimate customer is, the package has to “sell” them on buying your product. If you haven’t taken the time to “think like a customer” your product won’t be flying off the shelf. It will be dying on the shelf! Got packaging problems? I can help. I teach people how to package products consumers will buy. Adoption – The Other Way of Having Children

By Michael Russell “You didn’t grow under my heart, but inside of it, is a saying describes pretty well what parents of adopted children feel for their non-biological offspring. But the decision to adopt a child is not an easy one. The most common question people who are thinking about adopting a child ask themselves is “Will I be able to love my adopted child as I love my own children?” If you are considering adoption, you are probably asking yourself similar questions. Just relax: Your doubts will disappear gradually when you are together with your adopted child for the first time. The adoption of a child is in any case very different from giving birth to one. Pregnant women spend 9 months, from conception to birth, in close physical contact with their new baby. On the other hand, when adopting a child they spend a lot of time dealing with formalities, from filling out the first application to the long and difficult process of being approved by state agencies as a prospective parent. These formalities constitute many great obstacles and at times it seems that they will never be overcome. But one has to be aware of one thing: At the end of this difficult path there lies a completely new and probably better future for the child to be adopted. How does one go about an adoption? When a married couple wants to adopt a child their first step takes them to an organisation, usually a private one like the church, that specializes in bringing together orphans with people who want to adopt a child. This organization checks whether the couple is adequate for the adoption of a child and then turns the process over to state agencies. This is where all papers and documents are checked and re-checked and a thorough background check of both husband and wife is carried out. They will have to undergo physical examinations and psychological tests. Their financial solvency has to be proven and character testimony brought forward by employers or colleagues. Their criminal record is also checked. The list is seemingly endless. When after all this paperwork the adoption has finally been approved nothing stands in the way between the child and its new parents. The process though, between first contacting a church and the final adoption, may take between 1,5 and 2 years. How does one deal with the doubts of one prospective parent? It is totally normal that one of the spouses harbours doubts with regard to the adoption of a child. Is it the right thing to do? What will my other children make of it? Are they going to accept the new child as their brother or sister, or are they going to reject it? What is the rest of the family going to think of it? Will the child actually be better off with us? When these doubts surface, it is highly recommended to get in touch with other people who have already adopted a child and who are therefore more experienced. There are associations and clubs whose members are all parents of adopted children and who can tell from first hand experience how to deal with specific problems and situations. Who can adopt children? As a general rule, parents have to be married and certifiably so, for at least three years. That doesn’t mean that married couples have to wait until they are married for three years. They can initiate adoption proceedings before that time, since it takes, as mentioned earlier, 1,5 to 2 years for the adoption to come through. There are special regulations for families with already three biological children or if the parents have already adopted two children previously. Trade Show Planning – The BDA 10 – “Before the Show”

By Jim Hawkins Great! Youve finally got the approval to attend a Trade Show. Now what? Trade shows can either be a very expensive excuse to get out of the office for a few days, lug around heavy display cases, party too much and sleep too little, and get flat feet standing around on concrete all day long, OR it can energize your companys Sales program immediately, and for many months to come. How do you ensure its Door Number 2, and not a wasted opportunity? PLANNING! A major trade show requires considerable advance preparation and, if you aren’t ready, can present a logistical nightmare. You must develop a solid plan and monitor your progress vigilantly. Now, lets be brutally honest – when it comes to planning, someone from your Sales Department may not be the best choice much like you dont use a hammer to drive in a screw (at least I hope you dont). Top Salespeople are prized for their people-skills, and their ability to SELL, but when it comes to longer term planning and attention to detail, they come up short. Do the entire company a favor and put your most anal-retentive (thats a good thing!), details-oriented person in charge of the planning, under your supervision, of course! And now (drum roll please), heres the first of the BDA 10. The ten things to keep in mind Before your Trade Show. Before the Show 1. Select your Trade Show carefully. Participating in a trade show requires a major investment of time, money, and resources. Be tough in your evaluation of a show’s worthiness. Are the attendees likely customers for your business? Better one small, focused show, than a monster Trade Show that doesnt fit your profile. 2. Before all else fails, read the manual. Before you go too much further, make sure you have the Trade Show’s manual (usually mailed to you by the shows organizers right after registering for your booth, but it can sometimes be found on-line. Be sure to ask.) Everything you need to know about the show should be there, including registration information and forms, schedules and floor plans, booth specifications, invitations for potential speakers, etc., etc. 3. Identify your goals. What exactly do you want to accomplish at this Trade Show? Do you want to gain exposure to potential customers who might be interested in your products, increase visibility, or see what the competition is up to? Concrete goals are important to determine the ROI of the Trade Show to your business. 4. Define measurements of success your Trade Show ROI. Determine a way to measure each goals (see #3, above) success, as specifically as possible. Plan on handing out 1000 promotional flyers, make contact with at least 100 prospects, and take a key client out to lunch. These ROI benchmarks will help you decide whether the show was worth the expense, and whether you should attend next year. 5. Put your Trade Show plan in writing. The plan should include a detailed schedule, a full list of preparation tasks, and an individual assigned for each task. Never leave anything to chance, or well catch that later. 6. Spread the word – Let people know about your Trade Show participation. Advertise well before the Trade Show! Use tag lines such as: “see us at Booth 1234 at the 2006 Worlds Biggest Trade Show” in news releases and other communications (even unrelated communications) leading up to the Trade Show. Put the Trade Show logo on your corporate website under Coming Events. Invite prospects (and current customers) to stop by the booth, or set up appointments between them and your Trade Show personnel. Do a pre-show e-mail blitz. 7. Order all Trade Show supplies early, including brochures and giveaways. Take care of any marketing material updates or redesigns early. Don’t run the risk of having nothing to hand out! Design clear forms (to eliminate guesswork) for filling out prospect information. Consider giveaways to generate attention and a bit of excitement. These don’t have to be expensive – pens with your web address and a catchy slogan can be just as effective. Be creative with something specific to your industry. Think of something that someone did at a previous Trade Show that impressed you, and then steal it! 8. Home Sweet Home – Design an open, inviting booth. Invite attendees to come in to your home with an open booth design, with no obstructing tables or displays. Maximize “walking around” space by mounting brochure displays on walls. Use interesting graphics to catch peoples eyes. Your logo should be big enough to be seen from a good distance. For demos, laptops and flat-screen monitors are space-efficient. Think about providing comfortable chairs to encourage prospects to linger (space permitting). (Hint: Splurge a bit and order that carpet underlay your feet and back will thank you for it). 9. Create a unique identity for your Trade Show personnel. Decide on the dress code for your people. Matching vests, Golf shirts, or even boutonnieres will make your representatives easily identifiable. To avoid that rumbled uniform look by the third day of the show, make sure everyone has spare shirts. 10. Train your Trade Show personnel before each show. Your people need to know what is expected of them. They need to be briefed on all new features and offerings. They must know how to run the demos and presentations, and they should know some basic trouble shooting. Nothing looks more unprofessional then demos that don’t work, and supposed experts fumbling for an answer. Jim Hawkins works at Windward Software, developers of Point of Sale software, and, among other things, is responsible for organizing Trade Show attendance. While he doesnt actually attend many, he does love to tell people what to do. Teens: Your Body Image

By Christine McGogy Young people these days are bombarded by media messages every day.We watch TV shows and movies with perfect looking actors, or read fashion magazines picturing top models. How can we not end up feeling inadequate in comparison? We compare our looks to those of actors and models, and then feel awful because we aren’t as skinny, or don’t have the same straight nose, or the same hair, or big eyes etc. What we don’t know is how many plastic surgery procedures the models may have gone through, or how the photos are touched up and airbrushed, or how many actors and models feel the need to starve themselves to maintain their demanded body weight. The models appear to have it all because of their looks, but do we really know if they are happy? Would you be happy if millions of people were judging your body on screen or in magazines? Would you be happy if you rarely got to eat? No wonder there are so many ads for weight loss wonder pills and instant diet plans. We see ‘before’ and ‘after’ pictures that lead us to believe our lives will be perfect if we can just lose the weight. Then we will be beautiful, right? Again, what the media doesn’t tell us is that many of the people in those ‘miracle’ weight loss commercials get paid quite handsomely to lose weight, and are even using other methods beside the product advertised. And they don’t tell us how many of these people gain the weight back and then some after the diet is over. These companies spend millions of dollars on marketing figuring out new ways of attracting people to their product. So be aware of the big, bad advertising monsters that make you feel like you have to look a certain way to be a worth-while person. Also another big influence can be when your friends and/or family members who are actually not overweight, but still say they need to lose some weight. The question you may ask then is, if they need to lose weight, do you also need to lose weight? Shouldn’t you also be unhappy with your body? It seems like the pressure to be skinny never ends. Unfortunately excessive and prolonged dieting can lead to an eating disorder as well. The fact is, overeating is usually caused by emotions. You may notice that when you feel tired, angry or lonely, you reach for a cookie or another slice of pizza. Next time you eat, ask yourself the question, ‘Am I eating because I feel hungry or is there another reason?’ Eat a variety of foods, and make fruits and veggies part of your daily food intake. If you are not already doing so, find a sport that you enjoy. It might take a few tries for you to find the sport that fits you best, but keep looking. Being physically active will help you feel better about your body. Unfortunately, some sports nowadays do cost a lot of money, which can create a big problem for teens. If that is the case, there are other ways to keep your body fit. Going for walks with your dog (or your friends), go bicycling, play Frisbee, jump rope, just get moving. Even mowing the lawn is good exercise, and you may also be able to charge for it and make some money on the side! Fishing The Power Drop Shot Rig

By Steven Vonbrandt Most people believe that the drop-shot rig is only for finesse fishing, but there is more than one way to skin a cat! (or Fish), as the case may be. The new Power Drop-Shot style started by Kotaro Kiriyama, is fast becoming the way to bigger and better bags on many of the tournament trails. Drop-shot rigs consist of a hook tied above a sinker that is placed at the end of the line so that the lure suspends off the bottom. Conventional tackle consists of light action spinning gear and 4-8 pound line, and the tactic is usually deployed vertically in deep water. Kiriyama says “Drop-Shotting is about presenting a soft plastic lure in a manner that is different from Texas rigging or Carolina rigging.” When conditions allow, Kiriyama, (who logged 10 Top 10 finishes in his first 37 events on tour), says “You may get more bites with lighter line and smaller baits, but when there is heavier cover, a power version is required. This is a technique we have employed with success all last year, and now we are going to share it with you here in the Northeast. This technique works great in all the lakes, rivers, and impoundment’s here in the Northeast. It is a great way to put together a real quality stringer. The drop shot’s configuration with the weight beneath the lure, makes it ideal for pitching into heavy cover. The reason, is that the sinker goes through cover better and falls right to the bottom. You can fish faster and cover more water! We fish it just like other anglers fish a Texas rig, but like Kiriyama, we believe it is more effective! This is a great tactic for places like the Potomac River or Lakes such as Kerr or Gaston, where the fish are highly pressured and are used to seeing anglers flip Texas rigs and Carolina rigs. This gives the highly pressured fish a completely different look. The rig has some other advantages also. There is less line wear at the hook knot because the sinker isn’t beating against it, and the hook isn’t dragging the bottom where the line and knot can be damaged. You can also detect the bites a lot easier, because the sensation goes through the line without passing through a sinker that deadens the sensitivity. In lower Delaware we have a Bald Cypress swamp in one of the lakes, and there are also similar areas in the Nanticoke River. Most anglers flip these trees with Texas rigged worms in the 4 inch size or with a small lizard in the spring. We like the power drop shot rig in these areas the best. It attracts bass that are lying near the bottom or are suspended in cover down at the roots. You can fish this rig either horizontally or vertically. In the heavy currents in the Sassafras River on the Upper Chesapeake Bay, we drag it from the calm water into the faster moving current, and catch largemouth holding near the edges waiting for an easy meal. You can also use this rig successfully in deep cover. This will work well in the standing timber in Table Rock Lake when fished on a Fluorocarbon line in 10-16 pound test. We have used 30 pound test when the fish were aggressive, and gone down to 10 pound when the bite is tougher. This is a clear to stained water technique though, and works much better in these conditions. There are areas here in the Northeast that have extremely clear water at times, and it excels in those areas. We use this around deep points also with great success. Waters such as Spruce Run and Greenwood in New Jersey and New York are great areas to use the Power Drop shot. We use it anywhere you would normally use a Carolina or Texas rig. When we flip the Power Drop shot rig we use 6 and 6 1/2 inch Yamamoto Cut Tail worms. We have tried a variety of other baits with this rig, but the straight tail and Cut-Tail worms have produced the best results. When you are flipping it in fairly light cover, you can go with a lighter sinker of 1/16 of an ounce, and as the cover gets thicker, we go as high as 3/8 of an ounce. Since the start of 2003, we have been using nothing but the Tungsten weights for all our baits. We believe this is especially important with the Power Drop Shot also, as the Tungsten is heavier than lead, allowing for a smaller profile, which penetrates the cover better, and allows for a better feel of the bottom. We generally rig the baits with a 2/0 to a 3/0 Gamakatsu or X-Point hook, but we will go as high as a 5/0 on some of the bigger worms at times. The general rule when using this rig for flipping is simple; The distance between the hook and the weight, is no more than 3-6 inches longer than the bait itself. The rig is simple to use, no fancy tricks are needed. Just drop the bait around cover and let it sit. No other action is necessary because of the way the bait suspends off the line. The natural current of the water imparts all the action you need. We use this on bedding bass also, since we have no closed season here in Delaware during the tournaments. The technique is just like any other type of flipping we do. We drop it in near the cover, let it sit a few seconds if the bass are being finicky, and then lift it up and pitch it to the next target. Try Power Drop Shotting this year in your local waters when everyone else is throwing a Texas or Carolina rig, and you will get a big surprise! http://www.reeltimeanglers.com Steve is a professional guide, tournament anglers, writer, vido producer, radio show owner and host, and tackle dealer. How To Make A Cookie Bouquet

By Peta Fletcher I love making bouquets. There are so many different types you can make… Posies, wedding bouquets, candy bouquets, fruit bouquets and more. One type of bouquet that I recently started making, is a cookie bouquet… A cookie bouquet is a bouquet made with cookies, and leaves. They are very fun, and quite easy to make. This article shows how to make a cookie bouquet in 5 easy steps… You will need: – 9 Chocolate chip cookies – 2 Bunches of floristry wire – Cellophane – Stem-tape – Leaves ** Step 1: Wire and tape the leaves ** Wire and tape the leaves… Wire the leaf by pushing the wire through the silk part of the leaf, behind the stem, loop it around, and then go back through the leaf, and down to the wire. Then stem tape the wire by holding the wire in one hand, and wrapping (and stretching), the stem tape with the other hand. Make sure to tape right up to the leaf. ** Step 2: Prepare cookies ** Cut the cellophane into 9 squares. Make sure the squares are large enough to fit a cookie. Wrap the cookies in the cellophane, and then twist the end of the cellophane. Now wire and tape the cellophane, and snip off any excess cellophane. ** Step 3: Fan the cookies ** Hold the cookies in a bunch in one hand. Then fan the cookies out slightly, to leave spaces for the leaves… ** Step 4: Fill in with leaves ** Start to place your leaves in between the cookies. Fan the leaves out to make a circular shape. Then squeeze the bouquet together. If you have any gaps left then you can fill them in with more leaves. ** Step 5: Prepare the handle ** Neaten the ends of the wires in the handle by trimming them with cutters. Then stem-tape the handle, and add ribbon trailers if you wish. That’s it! You’ll find any candy bouquets you make are instant hits with anyone that sees them. People just seem to LOVE cookie bouquets! Peta Fletcher has been making bouquets for over 14 years. Her website has lots of free information on Cookie Bouquets, including more details (and pictures) on How to make a cookie bouquet Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Peta_Fletcher http://EzineArticles.com/?How-To-Make-A-Cookie-Bouquet&id=182760 bad credit personal installment loan guaranteed unsecured personal loan personal loans and athensga fast closing investor loan

Bullseye Interviewing

By Tamara Jong An interview is much like a blind date. You have sweaty palms, heart palpitations, shaky nerves and a preconceived notion of what could happen. The perfect scenario unfolds in your mind, where you are calm, cool and collected, dressed smartly, totally in control, enthusiastically meeting the other persons gaze and brimming with confidence. However, that idea has begun to unravel, because as of right now, you are LATE, because you got lost, forgot your resume, wore a shirt that is making you sweat and have pulled a muscle breaking in new shoes. As you are being led to the boardroom, youre informed that your possible Superiors will be sitting in. Panic sets in with the realization that this blind date is over before it even begun. What is needed therefore, is a realistic and proactive approach. If youre a mere mortal like the rest of us, then you do get nervous about a job interview. If we could accurately predict the outcome of this situation, life would definitely be easier to plan. While we cant accurately control the results, we can bank our odds if we keep the pointers below in mind. Basic Combat: Wardrobe: Do your homework. Find out what the corporate culture is. Check out the companys website on the net. Go to the media area and find out what type of functions they attend or sponsor. Is the work environment business casual or corporate? Wear what is considered acceptable attire and meet that standard. Make sure your wardrobe is clean, odor free and neatly pressed. Research: While this may not be the only job youve applied for, read information on the company involved. Understand what the position entails in detail. Keep a copy of the posting for yourself. Know your own resume inside out and be able to explain examples of your work and how it fits into their job description. Take down the name of the person youll be seeing, how to spell and pronounce their name and note (or ask) if its a Mr., Mrs. Ms. (Yes, this is important). Although you cant rehearse the exact answers when you dont know the questions youll face, its possible to find out what the latest interview trends are on Career sites or in your local bookstore. Body Language Greet your potential employers with a firm handshake and smile. Look the interviewer(s) in the eyes, but dont make them uncomfortable by staring. Try to relax by taking a deep breath. Tapping your foot and fingers or chewing gum is considered a faux pas. Its best to match the body language of the interviewer(s), but not in a mechanical fashion. The Actual Interview Think positively and keep it all in perspective. Based on your abilities, education and work history, THEY called you. This is your unique moment to market YOU. You need to believe that you are by far, the best candidate for them. Make sure you look neat and orderly and pop in a breath mint for good measure. Slang or acronyms are not appropriate in your speech. Remember not to confuse confidence with arrogance and dont interrupt or hijack the interview. When asked a question, pause and reflect on the answer and try to listen to be clear and concise. When they ask, Do you have any questions?, ask the ones you have prepared mentally based on your research and relevance to this interview and position. If this job still interests you, let them know and thank them for their time. Remember, an interview is really just the beginning of the process, but first impressions not unlike a blind date can either make for a great story or fodder for the fire. Make this your opportunity to distinguish yourself from the pack and get that second date. The Hated Cellulite Cure That Works

By Naweko San-Joyz Cellulite is not a medical condition or an aesthetic mutiny perpetrated by your thighs. Its just excess fat that weve relegated as unsightly. Not all women have cellulite. All women of course have fat, but cellulite is simply excess fat bursting through the connective tissues holding the fat layer in place. Mitchel Goldman, MD, an associate clinical professor at the University of California at San Diego regularly informs the dermatological community about cellulite treatments. On one such occasion in 2002, at American Academy of Dermatology’s summer scientific meeting in New York, Dr. Goldman offered bleak hope for women with fat dimples while asserting that there is no cure for cellulite. Perhaps Dr. Goldman has never visited a womens figure competition, Golds Gym or any placed packed with women who know how to take care of their bodies. If he did frequent such places, Dr. Goldman would find that there is indeed a three-step remedy for cellulite which follows: 1. Eat a macronutrient rich diet that maintains your ideal body weight; 2. Exercise at least 60 minutes daily to promote circulation and increase the skins elasticity and tone; and 3. Do resistance training to increase muscle size, boost fat metabolism, and increase structural support for the skins fat layer. I assure you that women who pose as models for cellulite creams and services already do these things. Notwithstanding, Dr. Goldman rests convinced that “Foods really do not have an impact on whether a woman has cellulite or not.” He further doubts dietary interventions by stating, Even a woman who radically changes her diet from high fat foods to low fat foods would still have cellulite. Consumers should be wary of any diet plan that claims to reduce the appearance of cellulite — it is simply not credible.” So how do women in the advertisements for cellulite creams get rid of their cellulite? Not by using a cream, of course. One may answer that Adobe Photoshop editing cleverly erases the smiling fat dimples. Thats not always the case. Women can and do shrink their cellulite bubbles using a sensible diet and exercise program. 1. Eating to eliminate cellulite Enjoy five to six meals/snacks a day. Frequent eating keeps the blood sugar level balanced so that your body does not resort to fat storage. This predictable food intake also keeps the metabolism burning calories at a consistent rate. 2. Strategic exercising for cellulite elimination A study issued by the National Academies’ Institute of Medicine in 2002 recommends an hour of cumulative exercise each day to maintain a healthy weight. Cellulite is an aesthetic issue and not a grave health threat. So while climbing the stairs here, and washing the car there, may help your heart, it does nothing for cellulite. If you want to get rid of cellulite, you need to exercise for at least 45 to 60 minutes consistently to reap the fat burning benefits. Yet, you need not exhaust yourself. Make your body tingle with energy Just try walking briskly at a rate fast enough to make your thighs and rear-end tingle. That way, you know you are stimulating the fat while simultaneously massaging the skin. Moreover, you are raising your external body temperature. You can spend $100s of dollars at a spa trying to get the same effect in some body wrap or massage machine. Spare yourself the hassle and get real results from the gym or on the trail. 3. Make the most of weight training The most ridiculous fear that arises from women when I suggest weight training is the unfounded cry, But I dont want to get bulky and muscular! Please. Too many women in the gym today are hardly in any danger of developing muscle simply because they are not properly training or eating to gain muscle. The only way to get bulky with muscle is to consistently train for years lifting heavy weights and eating a generally bland diet thats rich in protein. With that, its critical to make the most of your muscle training minutes in the gym. Granted the variety of weight lifting techniques remains endless, heres some basic steps for increasing your muscle mass: Eat before lifting Eat at least 45 minutes before lifting weights. While, your stomach should not fill bloated with food, having some nutrients in your stomach will ensure that you have enough energy to actually lift the weight and perform enough repetitions to promote muscle growth. Lift enough weight to feel your muscle burn after 8-10 repetitions. The whole point of lifting weights is to tear down the muscle you have so that it will repair itself and grow back stronger and more plentiful. If you are not burning, its likely that you are not breaking down muscle. Refuel your muscles with protein and carbohydrates immediately after lifting weights Professional bodybuilders strategically plan their day to ensure that they get their protein within at most 45 minutes after having lifted weights. This is because the muscle needs fuel to repair itself. If you skip feeding a repairing muscle, it will not grow, or at best youll reap minimal results. Moreover, a resent study published in the June 2004 edition of the International Journal of Sport Nutrition & Exercise Metabolism confirmed that after resistance training, a meal containing protein and carbohydrates produced more muscle growth than a meal consisting purely of carbohydrates. Consistent dieting habits, exercising and resistance training effectively eliminate cellulite. This three-tiered strategy reduces excess fat and tones the skin- collectively revealing a smooth, bump-free backside. Though you may hate the method, it produces visible results four to six weeks with regular usage.
